The criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent not to interfere with the civil dispute.

2. According to the petitioner, there is a civil dispute

between the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 8 and the petitioner has also filed a suit in O.S.No.22 of 2019 before the learned Principal District Munsif Court, Karaikudi, Sivagangai District. Now, based on the complaint given by the respondents 3 to 8, the second respondent police under the guise of enquiry, harassing the petitioner. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3. Today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on instructions would submit that based on the complaint given by the respondents 3 to 8, the second respondent only conducting enquiry and after enquiry, closed the complaint as civil dispute and directed the parties to approach the concerned Civil Court, the second respondent is not harassing the petitioner.

4. Considering the fact that already the complaint given by the respondents 3 to 8 has been enquired into and closed as civil dispute between the parties, no further order is required in this petition. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
