Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner has been issued with passport. He has now been called upon to surrender the same, since the adverse police report was subsequently received. That led to filing of this writ petition.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate on instructions submitted that the petitioner is not figuring as an accused in any case. He is figuring as witness in the criminal case.
