This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd Respondent to treat the suspension period from 21.01.2000 to 28.02.2016 as duty period and to settle all retirement benefits by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 30.11.2016.

2. Heard Mr.S.Ramasamy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.S.Sathesh Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. Without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 30.11.2016, with regard to treating the suspension period from 21.01.2000 to 28.02.2016 as duty period and to settle all retirement benefits, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
