The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 26.07.2016 and conduct election to the Mohaideen Aandavar Pallivasal at Rethinakottai, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukottai District to elect administrative committee to the above said Pallivasal within a reasonable time.

2. Today, Mr.K.K.Senthil, learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondents are

taking steps to conduct election to the Mohaideen Aandavar Pallivasal at Rethinakottai, Pudukottai District.

3. In view of the same, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 26.07.2016 and take appropriate steps to conduct election to the Mohaideen Aandavar Pallivasal at Rethinakottai, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukottai, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
