Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the "Aadal Padal" and "Kathaba Nadagam Programs" on 11.04.2017 and 12.04.2017 in the eve of "Oothupatti Arulmighu Sri Manthaimman Kovil Thiruvizha" at Oothupatti Village, Chekkanuoorani, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.03.2017.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondent to give necessary permission for conducting the programmes in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondent. 3.It is seen from the records that on 24.03.2017 a representation has been given, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

representation dated 24.03.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
