ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The writ petitioner has lodged a complaint seeking for the removal of encroachments made by the respondents 3 and 4. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 3 and 4 would submit that a survey was conducted in the year 2023 and that the subject property belongs to the respondents 3 and 4.

3.In view of the above, the second respondent/the Tahsildar, is directed to conduct a field inspection and survey with reference to the revenue records available and identify the encroachments, if any. In the event of identification of the encroachments, the Tahsildar shall initiate eviction 2/5

proceedings under the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 or any other relevant Acts and Rules, by following the procedures as contemplated. The said exercise is directed to be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
