O R D E R

The landlord in R.L.T.O.P.No.5 of 2020 has approached this Court for expeditous disposal of the matter by the Principal District Munsif Court, Nagercoil.

2. The learned counsel for the revision petitioners submitted that the petitioners have filed a petition for his own occupation and as per the Act, the matter must be disposed of within a month, whereas even after several months, counter has not been filed.

3. This Court only reminds the learned counsel that pandemic days caused by Covid-19 and disruption in the functioning of the regular Court has to be considered and therefore, letters of the Law might have to be bend to the reality of the life.

4. Having stated thus, since the Court reopened to normalcy substantially, this Court directs the learned Principal District Munsif, Nagercoil to dispose of the matter on or before 28.02.2021.
