Prayer Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to grant permission and police protection to conduct the programme namely Cultural Programme in Arulmighu Sri Poonaikuthi Ayyanar Temple Aadi Festival on 06.08.2019 from 08.30 pm., to 12.00 am in the petitioner's village (Regunathapuram), Karampakudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 11.07.2019.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and necessary police protection to perform the cultural program ie., Adal Padal Dance Programme on 06.08.2019 from 08.30 pm., to 12.00 am., in connection with Aadi Festival of Arulmighu Sri Poonaikuthi Ayyanar Temple at Regunathapuram, Karampakudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District. 2.Heard both sides.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct Adal Padal Programme on 06.08.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

11.07.2019 to the second respondent and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.07.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

5.The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
