ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to pass order on his representation dated 23.09.2024, seeking cancellation of patta issued in favour of the third respondent's father Subbaraj, in respect of the land situated in Survey No.25/37A, Veppilapatti Village, Sattur Taluk, Viruthunagar District, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard the arguments of Mr.S.Saravanan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse order is passed against the third respondent, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with.

3.By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4.According to the petitioner, the subject property belongs to the petitioner and his siblings. The natham patta for the said property was wrongly issued in the name of the third respondent's father, Subbaraj.

Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 23.09.2024 seeking cancellation of the patta issued in the name of the third respondent's father. The same has not been considered till date. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

5.The leaned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

6.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.09.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and third respondent.
