ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.06.2019 on the basis of the report submitted by the 5th respondent dated 20.05.2019 and to allot Panchami land in Sy.No.506 of Thennilai Thenpagam Village, Pugaloor Taluk(Former Aravakurichi Taluk), Karur District, within the time stipulated by this Court
2.Heard Mr.M.R.Sreenivasan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3.The petitioner, being an Adi Dravida community woman, has given a representation on 12.06.2019 to the respondents, seeking assignment of house site out of the excess Panchami land allegedly available in the District, according to the petitioner and hence, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, if the said representation dated 12.06.2019 is directed to be decided by the respondents, especially, the 3rd respondent, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court, on merits, the petitioner would be satisfied.
4.I have heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the said representation of the petitioner dated 12.06.2019 would be decided by the 3rd respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.
5.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, with the consent of both the parties, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, at the admission stage itself, with the following direction:
"The 3rd respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.06.2019 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
