ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking Police protection by alleging that the third respondent is posing threat, for which, he has lodged a complaint and no action has been taken by the second respondent.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, by referring an incident, which has taken place in a similar manner and the complaint that was not attended by the Police, which has resulted in a murder, submits that the petitioner apprehends that such an incident would also occur to him and hence, he prays to allow this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the first and second respondent submits that the alleged occurrence was taken place, within the limit of Sivagangai Town Police Station and the second respondent has nothing to do with the same. In the event, if the petitioner lodges a complaint before the concerned Police Station, the same would be considered by them.

4.Recording the above submission, this criminal original petition is closed with a liberty to the petitioner to prefer a fresh complaint before the Sivagangai Police Station, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the same shall be verified by the concerned Police as to whether any offence is made out and to take appropriate action.
