2.Heard Mr.C.Mayilvahana Rajendran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.P.Karthick, learned counsel appearing for the respondent Nos.1 to 3 and Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate appearing for the fourth respondent. 3.Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for in this writ petition is to admit the petitioner for the course of MBBS in the academic year 2019-2020 at Sri Mookambigai Institute of Medical Science and now, the academic year is over. Therefore, the prayer sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous.
4.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous, since the academic year is over. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
