ORDER

The petitioner is the accused in Crime No.5 of 2024 for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act. He has filed this petition seeking to quash the case in Crime No.5 of 2024 which is pending against him.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the investigation in Crime No.5 of 2024 was already completed and the final report was also filed on 16.06.2024 and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.146 of 2024 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi, 2/4

3. Since the final report was already filed and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.146 of 2024 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report if he is having any grounds. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
