ORDER
This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission after hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the first respondent and learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the second respondent.
2. The petitioner is an accused in atleast five different FIRs for the offences under Sections 4(1-A), 4(1)(aaa), 4(1)(d), 4(1)(e), 4(1)(k), 4(1)(l) and 4(1)(a) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, 1934 and Sections 188 and 271 of IPC.
3. It is fairly conceded by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the second respondent that the petitioner has not been charge sheeted so far.
4. Considering the same, there shall be a positive direction to the respondents to issue passport to the petitioner. However, the same shall be 2/4
surrendered to the second respondent. The petitioner may move suitable application before the concerned Judicial Magistrate for retrieving the same, in case the petitioner proposed to travel abroad.
