Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Saravanakumar, Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Kodaikanal Police Station is present. On instructions, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that a case in Cr.No.235 of 2015 has been registered against the petitioner.

2. Since a case has been registered against this petitioner, no relief as prayed for by the petitioner can be granted in the light of the law laid down by this Court in Dorand v. The Superintendent of Police, Nagercoil [2016(2) CTC 286]. Hence, this Writ Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies in the manner known to law. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
