This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent herein to grant permission and to provide police protection for erecting Vinayagar Idol on 05.09.2016 and to conduct Vinayagar Idol Procession on 07.09.2016 pursuant to the Vinayagar Chathurthi Festival of South car Street, Keeranur, Pudukkotai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 29.08.2016.

2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.
