ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, in connection with a case in Crime No.22 of 2024, for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 417, 376 and 506(i) IPC, has filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner has promised the defacto complainant to marry her and had physical relationship with her. After, knowing that she is pregnant, he avoided her and failed to marry her. The petitioner's family members threatened the victim with dire consequences. Hence the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that till now, the petitioner has not married the defacto complainant, who gave birth to a child.

5. Considering the nature of offence, conduct of the petitioner and also considering that there is no change in circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
