PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned final notice issued by the third respondent in Na.Ka.A2/1278/2025 dated 12.05.2026 and quash the same as illegal. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned final Notice dated 12.05.2026 issued by the third respondent and quash the same as illegal.

2. The learned counsel for the State of Tamilnadu appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that final notice was issued for removal of encroachment.

3. Considering that an effective alternative remedy is available under Section 10 of the Land Encroachment Act, liberty is granted to the petitioner to 2/5

file an appeal before the concerned authorities, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, no coercive steps shall be taken by the respondents against the petitioner.
