O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the second respondent police to take appropriate action against the respondents 3 to 6 and their henchman, on the basis of the petitioner's complaint, dated 18.07.2022 and complete the enquiry, within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.On earlier occasion, when the case was came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that this writ petition itself is not maintainable. Since the parties offered to refer the matter for Mediation, the subject matter was referred to the Mediation Centre attached to this Bench, on 13.10.2022 with specific direction that if the parties does not arrive at amicable settlement, the Mediation Centre may send back the records to this Court for orders. Accordingly, the case was adjourned to 10.11.2022. However, on 10.11.2022, the Mediation Report 2/4
was not received, therefore, the case was adjourned to 15.11.2022. 3.Today, when the case came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the Respondents 3 and 4 submitted that there was no settlement arrived between the private respondents and the Petitioner. 4.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the private respondents and the report of the Mediation Centre attached to this Bench, this writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable. No costs.
