ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to transfer the investigation on the file of the 5th respondent in C.S.R.No.245 of 1/3

2021, dated 17.05.2021 to the specialized agency namely Economic Offences Wing (EOW) or to some other agency to investigate the case in accordance with law.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that even though a complaint has been given against the accused persons, who have cheated several lakhs of rupees to the tune of Rs.89 lakhs from various depositors, only enquiry has been undertaken by assigning C.S.R number and thereafter, no further progress has been made. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based upon the complaint given by one Saravanakumar S/o Subramanian, a case in Crime No.4 of 2021 has been registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 120(B) IPC and Section 5 of TNPID Act, 1997, against Fly World Shares Private Limited and Syed Faruk, Anand Manikandan and Manoj Kumar and the investigation is underway. He further submitted that the petitioner is also a witness in this case.

So far 40 witnesses have been recorded and the petitioner has also summoned and gave a statement on 05.10.2021. 4.Since the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed no further direction or consideration is required. 5.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal original petition is disposed of as infructuous.
