This writ petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to issue a legal heirs certificate to the petitioner by considering her representation dated 31.01.2017.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that by proceedings of the respondent dated 11.04.2017, the request of the issuance of the legal heirship certificate has been rejected and he has also produced a copy of the said proceedings.

3. In view of the order passed by the respondent rejecting the claim of the petitioner, this Court is of the view that it is up to the petitioner to challenge the same in the manner known to law. In view of this subsequent development, this writ petition cannot be entertained and therefore the same is closed. No Costs.
