PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.203 of 2024 on the file of the respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The respondent police registered a case as against this petitioner in Crime No.203 of 2024 for the offence under Sections 294(b), 352, 506(ii) IPC and Section 3 of the TNPPDL Act, 2003 and remanded him into judicial custody on 21.06.2024. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this petition seeking bail. 1/3

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused were consuming alcohol in the bar, where the defacto complainat is working. At that time, all the accused abused the defacto complainant in filthy language and also attacked him with hands.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. However, he is languishing in jail from 21.06.2024. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submits that the petitioner already filed a similar petition in for bail before the Court below and the same is pending.

5.Considering the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal original petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedy before the Court below.
