RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to extend the interim bail for the period of three weeks in Crl.OP(MD) No.10307 of 2023 dated 09.06.2023 to attend the serious illness of the petitioners wife and new born baby.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.ALAGUMANI R, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.SANJAI GANDHI, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to extend the interim bail granted to the petitioner for a period of three weeks in Crl.O.P(MD)No.10307 of 2023 dated 09.06.2023.

2.This Court, by order, dated 09.06.2023, in Crl.O.P(MD) No.10307 of 2023, granted interim bail to the petitioner and directed the petitioner that he shall surrender before the Superintendent of Prison, District Jail, Dindigul on or before 23.06.2023 at about 05.00 p.m.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's wife was admitted in Poobathiammal Hospital at Usilampatti, Madurai and the newly born child was also still admitted in ICU on the complaint that the child has a hole in her heart. Therefore, even till today, the petitioner could not able to see his wife and child. He further submitted that since the petitioner's wife is taking treatment in Poobathiammal Hospital, the petitioner may be directed to report before the Usilampatti Town Police Station and prayed for an extension of interim bail for a further period of four weeks.

CRL MP(MD) No.8956 of 2023 4.Heard the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

5.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, interim bail granted to the petitioner is extended till 17.07.2023 and the petitioner shall surrender before the Superintendent of Prison, District Jail, Dindigul on or before 17.07.2023 at 05.00 p.m. Further, the petitioner shall report before the Inspector of Police, Usilampatti Town Police Station, daily at 10.30 a.m and 05.30 p.m from 24.06.2023 to 16.07.2023. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered. 7.Post the main Crl.O.P(MD)No.10307 of 2023 on 18.07.2023. sd/- 23/06/2023 / TRUE COPY / 23/06/2023 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
