: Respondents PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to construct the 'Village Panchayat Service Centre' at Indra Nagar Colony, near Transformer of Kovilangulam Village, Aruppukkottai Panchayat Union and Taluk, Virudhunagar District, based on the resolution of the Kovilangulam Panchayat, dated 29.07.2016, as well as representation of the villagers dated 12.08.2016.

Village, in a land that has been earmarked as 'kalam' in the revenue records. The writ petitioner however wants the Service Centre to be put up but not in the site meant for threshing. He has given a representation dated 12.08.2016 in this regard. 2.This Court directs the third respondent to take action on the said representation and put up the Service Centre on any land except the place shown as 'Kalam' in the revenue records. 3.With this observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
