This writ petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondent to issue death certificate of the petitioner's mother Kunjammal. 1/3

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. After a period of four years the application submitted by the petitioner for issuance of death certificate cannot be considered now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh application before the respondent and on receipt of the same, the respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
