respondents to restore the tank bund (Karai) in Survey No.337 and consequently to cancel the sub-division made as Survey no.336/2 along with the patta in the name of one Muniyandi by considering the representation made by the petitioner dated 23.05.2024 within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner seeks cancellation of sub-division made as Survey No.336/2. It is seen from the UDR that Survey No.336/2 stands in the name of the one Senthamarai Ammal. In this writ petition, no interference is possible as regards Survey No.336/2. As regards Survey No.337, it is seen that it is a tank bund. The character of the tank bund shall be maintained. The learned counsel for the petitioner alleges that the tank bund has since been levelled. If that be so, it shall be restored. 2/4
