Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent to release the petitioners' Mini Bus bearing Registration TN 75K 0220 and TN 74Y 3300 which were seized on 22.08.2016 forthwith.

COMMON ORDER These writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to release the petitioners' Mini Bus bearing Registration Nos.TN-75K-0220 and TN-74Y-3300 which were seized on 22.08.2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate for the respondent. 3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent has produced the communication of the Regional Transport Officer addressed to the Government Pleader, in which it is stated that, if the petitioners are prepared to present themselves before the authority along with required documents, they will consider the release of the petitioners' vehicles. 4.There is an undertaking on the part of the petitioners to appear before the Regional Transport Officer, Marthandam/respondent herein by tomorrow (15.09.2016) and to produce records.

5. In view of the undertaking given on the side of the petitioners, the petitioners are directed to appear before the respondent along with records by 15.09.2016. On such appearance and production of records, the respondent shall consider the request of the petitioners and pass orders in accordance with law. 6.The Writ Petitions are disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
