Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to grant permission to conduct the Vinayagar Sathurthi Vizha and Vinayagar Sathurthi Procession conducted on 5.9.2016 and 7.9.2016 on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner dated 29.08.2016.

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to grant permission to conduct Vinayagar Sathurthi Vizha and Vinayagar Sathurthi Procession to be conducted on 05.09.2016 and 07.09.2016 on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner dated 29.08.2016.

2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents undertakes to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.08.2016 within a time limit to be fixed by this Court.
