In continuation of our order dated 08.11.2021, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted a status report of the third respondent, wherein it is stated that call details of three mobile numbers used by the missing person were scrutinized and it is found that the missing person sold his mobile phone at Mattuthavani Bus Stand and thereafter, his whereabouts are not known. Furthermore, he stopped operation of his bank account also.

2. From the investigation it appears that the missing person had a troubled marital life and lost his mental balance due to stress. A special team headed by Sub Inspector of Police, one https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD) No.1328 of 2021 Constable and one Grade-I Constable has been constituted to trace the missing person and it is stated that they are taking continuous and sincere steps to trace the missing person and once the missing person is traced, he will be produced before this Court.

3. Recording the aforesaid status report, the habeas corpus petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent Police to proceed with the matter in accordance with law and as and when they get any clue about the missing person, the same shall be intimated to the petitioner herein forthwith.
