Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to grant permission to conduct Orchestra Programme will be held on 06.04.2017 at about 08.00 p.m to 12.00 p.m. Arulmighu Somasundari Samayatha Somanatha Swamy Thirukovil at Authoor, Tiruchendur Taluk, Thoothukudi District and to give necessary police protection to the said programme.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting Orchestra programme in the place mentioned therein from 08.00 p.m to 12.00 p.m., by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents. 3.It is seen from the records that a representation has been given on 27.03.2017 and the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 27.03.2017 and give necessary permission for conducting the programme mentioned in the petition from 08.00 p.m to 10.00 p.m.
