This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and protection for Vinayagar Chadurthi Festival to be conducted on 05.09.2016 and 07.09.2016 by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 18.08.2016. 2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents undertakes to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.08.2016 within a time limit to be fixed by this Court.
5.In view of the undertaking given by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
with a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.08.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 05.09.2016.
