Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to grant permission and adequate police protection to conduct "Aadal Padal" Programme in Arulmizhu Sri Bhagavathi Amman and Arulmizhu Sri Kalliyamman Temple Festival at Vanilaiaraichinilayam, Veriyappanaickkanpatti, Eluvanmpatti, Virallipatti, Nilakkottai, Dindugal District as per the schedule dated 06.04.2017 by considering the petitioner's representations dated 29.03.2017 and 31.03.2017. [Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondent to give necessary permission for conducting Adalpadal programme in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.Mr.M.Govindan, learned Special Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondent.

3.It is seen from the records that on 29.03.2017 and 31.03.2017 two representations have been given, but the same have not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

representations dated 29.03.2017 and 31.03.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
