ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM,J.) This writ petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to pass final orders in respect of the petitioner's Scheduled Tribe Kattunayakkan Community status which is pending in File No.21197/CV/4(2)/2010-6.

2. Heard Mr.M.Suresh Kumar, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Muruganantham, learned Additional Government Pleader accepting noticing on behalf of the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. With the consent of either side, the writ petition itself is taken up for disposal.

4. The petitioner claiming to be belonging to Hindu - Kattunayakkan Community, a Scheduled Tribe Community, seeks for a direction upon the respondent to pass final orders in respect of the petitioner's communal status which is pending in File No.21197/CV/4(2)/2010-6.

5. From the documents annexed in the typed set of papers, we find that the Deputy Superintendent of Police, SC/ST Vigilance Cell, had issued an enquiry notice on 14.10.2016 and it is stated that the enquiry has been completed and a report has also been submitted.

6. The petitioner, now, seeks for a final order from the respondent - State Level Caste Scrutiny Committee. In this regard, a representation has been made on 24.02.2017 which appears to be a very elaborate representation annexing the documents relied on by the petitioner.

7. Since it is stated that already Vigilance report has been submitted, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2017 and if all formalities have been completed, then, the respondent is directed to pass final orders on the petitioner's claim within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

8. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
