Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to revise the petitioner's pay in the scale of pay of Rs.9300-34800+4300/- with effect from 10.02.2012 in accordance with G.O.Ms. No. 61, Transport (C) Department, dated 30.04.2015 and further directing the respondents to disburse difference in salary from 10.02.2012 to 30.04.2015 and difference in retirement benefits with interest at the rate of 18% per annum with effect from 30.04.2015 to till the date on which the above monetary benefits are settled to the petitioner.

ORDER

The petitioner was an employee of the respondents/ Transport Corporation. Seeking a direction for grant of terminal benefits, he has filed the present Writ Petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the

respondents have not disbursed the benefits both under the Settlement and as per the Government Order. In this regard, the petitioner has given a representation to the respondents. Since the same did not evoke any response, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. At this juncture, learned Standing Counsel for the Transport Corporation, after taking notice for the respondents, submitted that in similar circumstances, this Court, in W.P.(MD). No.4829 of 2016, dated 10.03.2016, has directed the respondents therein to consider the representations of those petitioners. Therefore, he submitted that a similar direction may be issued in these petitions also.

In view of the above, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is also directed to send a copy of the representation once again to the respondents by enclosing a copy of this order, for further follow up, in this regard.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
