ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the R1 and R2 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner on the basis of her representation dated 11.07.2022. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is working as a Headmistress in Primary Union School, Enathikarambai Village, Peravoorani Taluk, Thanjavur District. On 30.06.2022, her relative one Murugan eloped with a girl named Durga, since they were in love affair. The father of the said girl gave a complaint before the second respondent Police and based on which, a case has been registered in Crime No. 241 of 2022. On 04.07.2022 at about 09.00AM, one Sekar, Ramanathan, Arumugam, Sankar @ Kumar, Rajendiran along with other persons came to petitioner's school and enquired the petitioner with regard to the said elopement, they abused her in filthy language and also threatened her. 2/5

Hence, seeking police protection against the respondents 3 to 5, the petitioner gave a representation before the respondents on 11.07.2022. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 11.07.2022 is available with the second respondent.

4.Recording the said submissions, the second respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.07.2022 and take suitable actions on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
