[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting cricket tournament from 13.01.2017 to 15.01.2017 in the place mentioned in the petition by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus.

2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that on 09.01.2017, a representation has been given to the respondents, but the same has not been considered.

4.Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, the following order can be passed.

5.In fine, this Writ Petition is allowed in part without cost. The third respondent viz., Inspector of Police, Manapparai Police Station, Trichirapalli District is directed to look into the representation dated 09.01.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of one week.
