C O M M O N O R D E R These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed for quashing the FIRs in Crime No.202 of 2017 and Crime No.203 of 2017 registered on the file of Inspector of Police, Silaiman Police Station, Silaiman, Madurai District. They are counter cases. 2.One Arumugam, W/o.Karuppanan is the defacto complainant in Crime No.202 of 2017 and one Malairaj, S/o.Ariram is the defacto complainant in Crime No.203 of 2017. The accused are also present before this Court. They have filed a joint memo of compromise and they have no objection for quashing the impugned FIRs. 3.I personally enquired the individual defacto complainants. Both of them answered in the affirmative that the matter has been amicably resolved. The defacto complainants have been duly identified by their respective counsel viz., Mr.G.Alagu Prasad (Enrolment No.2086/2020) and Mr.R.Vignesh.

4.Since the parties have chosen to give a quietus to controversy, keeping the prosecution alive will not serve any purpose. I am satisfied that the issue has been resolved. 5.Both the impugned FIRs are quashed. Both the Criminal Original Petitions are allowed.
