This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent i.e., the Secretary to Government, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises(EII (2)) Department, Chennai to pass appropriate orders on the above said disciplinary action initiated in R.C.No.32975/EG3/2014, dated 05.11.2014 by the Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries Commerce, Chennai within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:- "The first respondent, namely, the Secretary to Government, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises(EII (2)) Department, Chennai, is directed to pass appropriate orders on the disciplinary action initiated in R.C.No.32975/EG3/2014, dated 05.11.2014 by the Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries Commerce, Chennai, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
