The above petitions have been filed (i) to condone the delay of 72 days in filing the petition for setting aside the abatement caused due to the death of the second respondent (ii) to set aside the abatement caused due to the death of the second respondent and (iii) to bring on record the third respondent as legal heir of the deceased second respondent and rank her as third respondent in CMA(MD)No.

674 of 2019.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 3.

3. Considering the reasons assigned and taking note of the quantum of delay, these petitions are ordered and the Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendments in the main appeal and post the same on 16.07.2026.
