ORDER
The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction restraining the first respondent from granting planning/building permission to respondents 2 to 4 in respect of the properties situated at Kaduvetti Street, T.S. No.1510, and Vatti Gurukkal Street, T.S. No. 1516, Ward No.5, Kumbakonam Town, Thanjavur District. 2.The petitioner contends that a civil suit concerning the said properties is pending between the petitioner and the private respondents. In view of the pendency of the civil dispute, the petitioner submitted an objection dated 30.04.2026 before the first respondent, requesting that no building permission be granted to respondents 2 to 4.
3.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that the petitioner's objection would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed in accordance with law within such time as may be stipulated by this Court. 4.The said submission is placed on record.

5.In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's objection dated 30.04.2026 on its own merits and pass a reasoned order in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to all concerned parties. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
