Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner and his family members for their life and limb in the light of the representation dated 12.08.2016. This petition has been filed, seeking to direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner and his family members for their life and limb in the light of the representation dated 12.08.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's father had two wives and the 4th respondent is one of the son born through his 1st wife; that after the death of his father, there are disputes with regard to administration of Two Temples; that there is a case and counter case also; that the key of the Temples is still in the possession https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of the petitioner; that the 4th respondent is attempting to trespass into the house of the petitioner to steal the said key; that a representation dated 12.08.2016 was given to the respondents 2 & 3, seeking police protection, but, however, the same was not considered by the respondents so far and hence, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition. 4.

The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 12.08.2016 will be considered and suitable orders will be passed thereon.

5. Once a representation has been received by the respondents 1 to 3, it is their bounden duty to decide on the same. Therefore, the respondents 1 to 3 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.08.2016 and pass appropriate orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
