*********** [Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed questioning the order, dated 20.03.2017, in Na.Ka.No.6799/2016/A1, passed by the respondent Tahsildar.

2. We have gone through the impugned order. It does not read like an order issued under Section 6 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905. However, we are not inclined to quash the same. We permit the Writ Petitioner to give his objections within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, it is open to the respondent herein to pass an order under Section 6 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act and take appropriate action in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above observation. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
