This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission for installing a temporary idol of Lord Vinayaga at Selva Vinayagar Temple, A.Kokkulam Village, Checkanoorani, Madurai District on the eve of Vinayagar Chathurthy Festival and public procession for immersion of the said idol of lord Vinayaga at A.Kokkulam Kanmai on 06.09.2016 through the routes and places mentioned in the representation of the petitioner dated 25.08.2016. 2.Mr.R.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents undertakes to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.08.2016 within a time limit to be fixed by this Court.

5.In view of the undertaking given by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.08.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 06.09.2016. No costs.
