Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order of the second respondent dated 24.03.2017 and quash the same and further directing the respondents to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the programme of Aadalum Padalum on 11.04.2017.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to call for records relating to the impugned order passed by the second respondent dated 24.03.2017 and quash the same and also for directing the respondents to give permission for conducting Adalpadal Programme in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus.

2.Mr.K.Guru, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

conducting Karakattam, but rejected permission for performing Adal Padal programme simply on the ground of law and order problem. 4.Considering the fact that the second respondent has already given permission for conducting Karakattam, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

5.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the impugned order dated 24.03.2017 passed by the second respondent is partly quashed so far as permission sought for conducting Adal Padal Programme. The second respondent is directed to look into the representation alleged to have been given by the petitioner and pass suitable orders within a period of two days.
