This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to direct the second respondent to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members and for the enjoyment of his properties, by considering the petitioner's complaint dated 13.07.2022, within the period stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that after receiving the complaint, the respondent police have not taken any action. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents seeks four weeks time to complete the enquiry. 2/4

4. Recording the same, the second respondent police/ the Sub Inspector of Police, Tiruppulani Police Station, Keelakarai, Ramanathapuram District, is hereby directed to take suitable action on the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 13.07.2022, and to complete the enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
