ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(C), 25, 28 and 29(1) of the NDPS Act, in Crime No.Not Known of 2026 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that based on the secret information, the Inspector of Police, Q Branch and their team reached Anjukottai on East Coastal Road near Thondi Village and intercepted two four wheeler car, wherein they have found 300 kgs of kanja contained in 60 bundle bags. Thereafter, the same was seized and the accused fled away from the occurrence by leaving the vehicle. Hence, the complaint.

3.When the matter came up for hearing on 27.05.2026, as there was no representation on behalf of the respondent, the matter was adjourned to 2/4

29.05.2026. When the matter is taken up today (i.e., 29.05.2026), there is no representation for the petitioner.

4.Since the petitioner has not given crime number nor correctly mentioned about the respondent police, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
