This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to grant permission and protection for cultural event namely Adalpadal scheduled to be held on 05.09.2016 at night in connection with "Vinayagar Chathurthi Festival" in Arulmigu Sri Vinayagar Kovil at Pappinaickanpatti Village, Peraiyur Taluk, Madurai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 29.08.2016.

2.Mr.R.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents undertakes to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.08.2016 within a time limit to be fixed by this Court.
