ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 27(1) of Arms Act, in Crime No.20 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused persons were found in illegal possession of sword. Hence, the complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offences as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner is a friend of A1, he was falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready and willing to abide by any conditions which may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the investigation is still pending and co-accused had already been arrested and remanded to judicial custody. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the investigation is at initial stage and also considering the gravity of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. No costs.
