ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 11.11.2024, seeking cancellation of patta issued in favour of the 4th respondent in respect of natham land comprised in Survey No.280/1A1 at R.S.Mangalam, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2 and Mr.P.T.Thiraviam, learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the 3rd respondent. Since no adverse order is going to be passed against the 4th respondent, notice to him is dispensed with.

3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

It is the case of the petitioner that he has been in possession and enjoyment of the subject property for the past thirty (30) years and patta for the said property was cancelled and issued in favour of the 4th respondent. Hence, the petitioner has submitted a representation before the 1st respondent on 11.11.2024, seeking cancellation of patta issued in favour of the 4th respondent and the said representation has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.11.2011 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the 4th respondent.
7. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
