O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records pertaining to the impugned charge memo in Ref.No.E2/16576/17-1 dated 26.07.2018 on the file of the respondent No.2 and quash the same as illegal.

2.Mr.S.Dhayalan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.Though the charge memo issued against the petitioner has been challenged in this writ petition, now it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the it would suffice that if a direction is issued to the respondents to furnish the documents that are going to be relied upon by the respondents and the statement of the witnesses, if any, to him in advance and also to conclude the enquiry at the earliest point of time.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submits that the respondents also have no objection for furnishing the documents that are going to be relied upon and also the statement of the witnesses as sought for by the petitioner. 5.Taking note of the submissions made by both sides, this Court directs the respondents to proceed with the enquiry on day-to-day basis without adjourning the matter beyond five working days at any point of time. The petitioner is also directed to cooperate with the enquiry.

6.This writ petition stands disposed of with the above directions.

No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
